EDITHBURGH JETTY
South Australia’s Macro Mecca – Edithburgh Jetty.
What lies at the end of the main street of arguably one of South Australia’s sleepiest rural towns is a Jetty that, time and time again, beckons and seduces divers back like an Ocean Siren. Most days this Jetty is visited by the towns resident fishermen. They ponder at the curious site of divers sinking into the waters below, to a world at their feet they hardly know exists. This Jetty is heaving in biodiversity and wonders. Hidden in the alien pod-like Razor clams are Octopus, Blennies, Frogfish, Seahorses and countless Nudibranchs, just to name a few of the treasures below.
